Your UK Student Visa — what to expect

Four phases between offer letter and boarding the flight. Your TMC counsellor owns each one — no hand-offs.

01

Offer → CAS letter

After you accept your university offer and pay the deposit, the university issues the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). Typical timeline: 2–3 weeks.

02

Financial documentation

You show approximately £12,000–13,500 per year (London) or £9,200–10,500 (outside London) for living costs, plus first year tuition, held 28 consecutive days.

03

UKVI online application + biometrics

Apply at gov.uk, pay the £490 visa fee plus £776/year IHS, and book biometrics at VFS Global India. We pre-fill with your CAS, ATAS, and TB test certificate.

04

Decision — 3 weeks priority or 8 weeks standard

Priority service (£500 extra) typically clears in 5 working days. We run a credibility-interview prep call and pre-departure briefing before you fly.
